C-15 Title I Supplemental Educational Services Contract

Issue/Rationale
Title I schools not making Adequate Yearly Progress for 3 or more consecutive years on the FCAT, must offer free tutoring to students on free and reduced lunch. Parents may pick a tutor from a state approved list of Providers. The attached contract will be used to execute the agreement between the School Board of Clay County and the approved State Provider for these tutoring services.

Recommended Action
Approve the Title I Supplemental Educational Services Contract.

Financial Impact
Federal law requires that $380,147 of the 07-08 Title I Grant be designated for Supplemental Educational Services.
